Government Authority located in Zephyr Cove, Nevada; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for information technology consulting and support services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide information technology consulting and support services to the government authority located in Zephyr Cove, NV.
A. New Systems Implementation: -
- Implement Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and any related architecture to allow for information and file sharing between, at a minimum, remote workers, the Administration Office, Y Transit Center, and the Corp Yard
- Provide migration services for all agency data from existing WebDAV servers to OneDrive
- Provide seamless migration services from agency existing Gmail accounts to Outlook, including moving archived, inbox, outbox, sent, all subfolders, and contacts
- Assess and recommend SMS service
- Assess and recommend a shared contact management solution (e.g. Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, etc.)
- Assist third party contractors and agency partners with the implementation and integration of new IT systems as they become available with new fleet and systems.
B. Network Maintenance Services - Typical duties shall include, but are not limited to:
- Maintenance of all TTD network equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, bridges, access points and cabling infrastructure, desktop and multi-function, networked printers.
- Analysis, routine configuration changes, and installation of patches and upgrades.
- Configuration of alert notifications.
- Documentation of network configuration information.
- Maintain and service existing LAN.
- Installation and maintenance of network cabling, fiber, jacks, patch panels and wiring modifications.
- Coordinating employee access -passwords, etc.
- Maintain and service e-mail.
- Manage and maintain VoIP and mobile phone services
C. Server Maintenance Services -Typical duties shall include, but are not limited to:
- Management of computer systems and networks to include complex application, database, messaging, web and other servers and associated hardware, software, communications, and operating systems necessary for the quality, security, performance, availability,
recoverability, and reliability of the system.
- Coordinate warranty repairs or make repairs when equipment is no longer under warranty.
- Preventive equipment maintenance.
- Review, adjust, and ensure back-up job settings are correct.
- Set-up new users and edit or remove existing users on server.
- Management of user logins and security.
- Configuration management, including changes, upgrades, patches, etc.
- Installation and support of specialized software products used by agency.
- Coordinate multi-server environment.
- Assist agency with new purchases and upgrades of software, coordinating between software vendors and agency, where applicable.
D. Desktop Administration Services -Typical duties shall include, but are not limited to:
- Perform basic support functions, including installing PCs, laptops, PDAs, printers, peripherals, and office automation software.
- Diagnosing and correcting desktop application problems.
- Configuring laptops and desktops for standard applications.
- Identifying and correcting end user hardware problems.
- Performing advanced troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
- Coordinate warranty repairs or make repairs when equipment is no longer under warranty.
- Conduct annual evaluations of workstations and servers for upgrade and/or replacement and make recommendations to agency.
- Assist designated agency personnel with software and hardware purchases.
E. Mobile Device Maintenance - Typical duties shall include, but are not limited to:
- Maintenance and support mobile laptop systems, field printers, air cards, etc.
- Configuration assistance and set up for users with iPhones, iPads, and other devices running iOS or Android, with Mobile Device Management as necessary.
F. Miscellaneous Maintenance & Support Services - Typical duties shall include, but are not limited to:
- Support and maintenance of the phone system.
- Phone and internet connectivity in conjunction with multiple service providers (AT&T, Charter, Verizon, etc.)
- Support and coordinate all Microsoft Dynamics 365 functions, including coordinating with other software support firms and staff.
- Assist with operator file maintenance, data entry and software use as needed.
- Provide and oversee IT training and education program.
- Create, monitor, and process contracts and budget activity for the department.
- Maintain asset and licensing inventory.
- Deployment and support of certain fleet-based onboard systems (e.g. cameras, passenger counters, tablets, connectivity, etc.).
- Provide project management services for IT related tasks.
- Provide support and maintenance for secure remote

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
