[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide federal lobbying services on an as needed basis to the government authority located in Reno, NV.
• Provide a broad range of Federal Lobbying Services on behalf of the NSHE/UNLV/ UNR/NSC before the legislative and executive branches.
• Coordinate and facilitate the formulation of a federal funding policy agenda working in consultation with chancellor/president/vice president/directors and other senior staff as directed.
• Review and analyze, on a continuing basis, all existing and proposed Federal policies, programs, and regulations that impact the NSHE/UNLV/UNR/NSC and provide prompt notification to the system and institution leadership.
• On issues where local, state, and federal policy overlap, coordinate and collaborate with the system/universities contract lobbyists as necessary.
• Utilize long-standing positive working relationships with key decision makers in Congress and the Executive agencies to achieve the system and university policy goals and promote the interests of the system/universities.
