[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide DNA laboratory information management system (LMIS) module.
- Capability to manage both casework and database processes to include individual sample and batch processing.
- Capability to interface and integrate with forensic advantage as it is currently utilized by the LVMPD LIMS for sample management and report writing and release.
- Integrate with Forensic Advantage for all analytical processes related to DNA casework and database analysis and must control and track all aspects of the DNA workflow from sample receipt through laboratory processing to include both manual and robotic procedures
- Conjunction with forensic advantage, the DNA module must allow for a search of the status of a specific case, sample, or batch for any date range
- Integrate with the STaCS state-wide sample receipt virtual software maintained by the washoe county sheriff’s office to allow for the update of the CODIS confirmed status after CODIS import.
- The naming system described in each individual laboratory processing step below must be maintained and build on itself throughout processing.
- DNA module must enable authorized users to perform documented electronic verifications at certain steps in the process, based upon casework versus database analysis.
- Provide workload status per analyst for any time period. This status should display the number of samples and cases currently in the analyst’s queue.
- Provide scheduling capabilities for signing up for individual instruments (e.g., calendar-based system).
- Support output to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat (.pdf). Proposer should list any fields or work views contained in the module that cannot be exported.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (US Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
