[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide forensic strategic planning service.
- A broad system analysis and recommendations for forensic service in state.
- An analysis of potential improvements to the competency to stand trial.
- And recommendations for enhancing data and evaluation capabilities across forensic systems.
- Review the forensic mental health system to understand:
A. Current structure, statutes, and practices
B. Interface of the forensic mental health system with other components of the mental health system
C. Challenges and gaps
D. Existing and potential resources
E. Recent and current Nevada strategies to address challenges
F. Stakeholders and potential collaborators
G. Review collateral information, interview stakeholders, develop and distribute survey
- Identifying opportunities for improvement
A. Potential plans for change and improvement
1. Internal agency policy
2. Internal agency forensic infrastructure (e.g., state office of forensic mental health, tele-health capacity, staffing support).
3. External policies from other stakeholders that may impact agency clients
4. Potential statutory changes
5. Potential financial implications
B. Create broad recommendations regarding vision and goals for meaningful change to forensic mental health system, including a focused feedback session and subsequent prepared written report.
- Determining additional areas of focus
A. Review findings, gaps, and potential recommendations with agency personnel
B. Identify potential areas for more specialized consultation
C. Clarify priorities for subsequent consultation tasks
D. Discuss identified gaps, potential follow-up consultation, and subsequent tasks and timeframes with agency personnel.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than February 10, 2022.
(3) Contract term will be one year.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
