[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide advanced traffic management system (ATMS) upgrade services.
- The user interface for the ATMS must be user-friendly and responsive. The ATMS shall require minimal intuitive actions from users to access relevant information or perform actions.
- The ATMS user interface shall be highly responsive. User actions shall occur with minimal latency.
- The ATMS shall allow administrators to assign different levels of permissions to the users. These permissions will strategically limit the ability to make system-wide changes for specified user groups.
- Users shall have the ability to configure preferences for their specific account to quickly obtain
customized information or access commonly used features and functions. The ATMS shall save the preferences, even when the user logs out of their account.
- Administrators of the ATMS may apply account preferences for users based on their user group or
region. For example, this should include default map views and access to certain features.
- The ATMS user interface shall intuitively display ITS devices on a map using their physical location.
- Users shall have the ability to choose the relevant map layers or features to display at any time.
- The ATMS shall be highly responsive. Command execution and device status updates will occur with minimal latency.
- All ATMS modules and features will be contained within a single user interface.
- The ATMS shall notify users when software updates for the system are ready.
- The ATMS shall notify the user when communication issues with field devices are detected. The ATMS should keep a log of communication issues for a configurable amount of time before being archived.
- The ATMS shall produce an audio and visual alert for notifications for user-configured scenarios.
- Users shall have the ability to configure scenarios and corresponding parameters for notifications at any time. Data from field devices and other ATMS platform data shall be used for parameters. The
ATMS shall have the option to display the alerts on a CCTV video wall.
- The ATMS shall dynamically adjust ramp metering rates to multiple ramp meters in tandem within user-defined ramp meter groups based on live traffic data parameters in order to minimize congestion.
- The ATMS shall allow users to automatically command ramp metering systems to flash red when a wrong-way driver is detected or as manually specified by users.
- The ATMS must include a spellcheck feature for manual ATM messages.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than May 4, 2022.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
