[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide document destruction, shredding and recycling services to the government authority located in Carson City, Nevada.
- Provide onsite and offsite destruction and removal of documents and other media statewide, with capability to maintaining security of confidential records.
- Estimated volumes for 2021 were approximately 500 tons in state.
- Recycling with a bonded and certified destruction service. Vendor picks up documents from a central point at a facility and transports it to a bonded recycling facility.
- Provide certificate of destruction that verifies when documents were destroyed and when shedding was sent to the pulping mill.
- Mobile on-site shredding. Vendor picks up documents from a central point at a facility and shreds it on-site in mobile units. Vendor must provide a certificate of destruction.
- Shredding off-site. Vendor picks up documents from a central point at a facility and transports it to a bulk shredding facility. Vendor must provide a certificate of destruction that verifies when documents were destroyed.
- Provide information on all services offered, including frequency, lead time for scheduling, method of destruction, etc.
- Identify estimated time between acquisition and destruction and disposal of data and media.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than June 27, 2022.
(3) The contract period will be for four years.
