[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide comprehensive compensation and classification study services to the government authority located in Minden, NV.
- Schedule and conduct an initial meeting with the county manager, director of finance, and human resources to discuss the process and tasks to be performed in the study, and to include reasonable dedication of key personnel.
- Provide frequent project updates to human resources.
- Provide for a comprehensive evaluation of every job classification in the county to determine relative worth within the organization for internal equity and for the establishment of pay ranges and step progressions within the ranges.
- Review current classification grade methodology and propose recommended strategies for the county.
- Conduct a comprehensive training program for Human Resources staff to ensure that staff can explain and administer the new system in the future.
- The compensation survey will encompass a labor market survey of comparable public agencies.
- Collect and analyze labor market total compensation data, summarize findings, and monitor survey process.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than September 2, 2022.
