INSU-2008 - USA (Reno, Nevada) - Long Term Disability Insurance Services - Deadline February 9,2023

(1) Vendor needs to provide long term disability insurance services to the government authority located in Reno, NV. - Provide Long Term Disability insurance for active academic and administrative faculty. - Offer state-of-the-art insurance services; - Communicate benefit determination to employees clearly and in a timely manner - Provide timely reporting; and - Offer innovative solutions to manage and optimize the program. - Account Management: - Successful administration of and service to the program - Trouble shoot and provide effective solutions to resolve issues or problems with the service agreement and services. - Monitor claim trends and audit claim handling procedures to ensure a high level of customer service and best in class claim service deliverables. - Analyze and investigate claims submitted by or on behalf of covered employees in accordance with the provisions of the LTD Plan, and determine the amount of benefits properly payable thereunder, if any. Analysis and investigation are to include both initial evaluation of a claim and ongoing review to verify continued disability. - Issue and direct deposit checks for all benefits properly payable under the plan or deny payment of benefits. - Quality Control - Claim Handling Procedures: - Provide a summary of your internal claims handling procedures and service standards. - Provide a list of customer service or call centers locations that would service this RFP and their hours of operation. - Implementation - Technology Requirements and Expectations - Data Reporting (2) All questions must be submitted no later than January 26, 2023. (3) The contract period will be for one year.
