(1) Vendor needs to provide public relations support services.
- A full-service agency to support the communications department in media relations and public relations efforts with various initiatives.
- As a premier place to live, work, and play, the City leads the valley in new home development, while maintaining a longstanding tradition of successful economic development in a business-friendly environment.
- City is a top destination in the country for development opportunities. The City is also a hub for new job creation and economic diversification that attracts global brands, innovative industries, manufacturing, e-commerce, and logistics centers.
- Distribute press releases, media alerts, newsbytes, recaps, etc. drafted by the City's communications team to media.
- Field media inquiries or requests that may come through the agency team and handle accordingly.
- Provide in-person staffing for media interviews, photo shoots, video shoots and special events, etcetera.
o Event staffing not to exceed three (3) events per month or hours allotted per monthly retainer.
o Agency to capture event b-roll and images while staffing these events.
- Host weekly virtual team meetings.
o Agency will create and distribute the meeting calendar invite, agenda, and lead the meeting.
- Present award opportunities, draft, and submit award nominations on behalf of City employees.
- Monitor editorial calendars for opportunities that align with the initiatives outlined by the City.
- As time permits, Agency team will coordinate media outreach including follow-up with media, general pitching, and overall media outreach.
- Maintenance of comprehensive up-to-date media lists to be used for the distribution of news, targeted media pitching and to invite media to cover specific City events.
- Provide immediate tracking of key media placements.
- Compile weekly and monthly media coverage reports.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than May 4, 2023.
