(1) Vendor needs to provide enterprise-wide fiber optic network infrastructure upgrade services to the government authority located in Las Vegas, NV.
- The project is to install new single-mode fiberoptic cable along the same pathways as the existing infrastructure improving network capabilities and throughput for future upgrades.
- Upgrade the existing fiberoptic backbone of the organization to support the current and future data needs of the hospital and its many connected services.
- A project to upgrade and future-proof the aging infrastructure is required to continue to provide high-quality care for our patients.
- Agency's existing fiber infrastructure consists of multi-mode fiber originating in the hospital's data center and branching out to the facilities' MDFs.
- Install: new fiber runs shall utilize existing paths whenever possible, otherwise, the new conduit shall be installed.
- Sprinkler lines cannot be utilized in any fashion as a support base for conduit and or other cable systems and must remain uninhibited as prescribed by building and fire codes.
- Penetrations in firewalls must be properly sealed with approved fire-rated material.
- Penetrations into medically, radiologically or signal-sealed rooms must be properly sealed and re certified as applicable.
- Fiber: OS2 single-mode Riser cable
- Terminated at each location in new, top-of-rack patch panels using LC connectors (Panduit FRME series or equivalent).
- Tested or certified to advertised and capable speeds.
- Datacenter to MDFs and strand counts
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than May 18, 2023.
(3) A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on May 12, 2023.
