Vendor needs to provide LTE wireless network operation and management service based on the long-term evolution (LTE) technology as defined in the 3GPP standards to the government authority located in Las Vegas, NV.
- Operate and maintain the existing and future expansion of the radio access network (ran). The current network has 50 radio sites using the shared general authorized access channels in the CBRS spectrum.
- Program management and integration of expansions to the RAN as well as operating and maintaining the complete Radio Access Network solution. In addition;
I. The O&M Supplier shall consider that the future expansion of the radio network may use different suppliers. The City of Las Vegas will ensure the RAN will always maintain compliancy to 3GPP standards. In addition, The City of Las Vegas intends to take full advantage of the existing competitive marketplace for standard LTE devices.
II. Optionally, the O&M Supplier may provide radio network planning, design and engineering services
- A proposal for the supply and operations of a 3GPP based Evolved Packet Core (EPC) solution that may either be on-premises or in the cloud.
- The proposed EPC shall integrate seamlessly into the existing RAN as well as accommodate future expansions of the RAN.
- The proposal for the EPC core solution shall include:
I. Supply all necessary hardware and software as well as any required licensing
II. Design and engineering services
III. Integration, testing and acceptance
IV. Operations and Maintenance services
V. A proposed time schedule for its implementation after contract award
- Telecommunications equipment or services produced by any of the following companies (including any affiliates or subsidiaries of such companies): Huawei Technologies Company, ZTE Corporation, Hytera Communications Corporation, Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Company, Dahua Technology Company, and any other company subsequently identified by the Secretary of Defense to be prohibited under section 889 of the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act ("NDAA 2019").
