Vendor needs to provide comprehensive economic development strategy service. – Economic Development Administration’s programs but successfully serves as a means to engage community leaders, leverage the involvement of the private sector, and establish a strategic blueprint for regional collaboration– Provides the capacity building foundation by which the public sector, working in conjunction with other economic actors (individuals, firms, industries), creates the environment for regional economic prosperity– A strategy–driven plan for regional economic development– Provides a vehicle for individuals, organizations, local governments, institutes of learning, and private industry to engage in a meaningful conversation and debate about what capacity–building efforts would best serve economic development in the region.• Educate stakeholders and community members to develop a robust understanding and support of the agency vision of sustainable, equitable communities where all thrive.• Build upon the foundations of prior community engagement to sustain and strengthen community participation and partnerships with trusted community organizations.• Build the capacity and trust of local stakeholders and the community at large to participate effectively in planning and decision–making processes.• Facilitate open dialogue across communities and between communities and decision–makers.
