Government Authority located in Reno, Nevada; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for union payroll processing service.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide union payroll processing service to the government authority located in Reno, NV.
1. Collection of Payroll Information
- Contractor shall establish a process for employees’ time to be recorded, including authorizing approved time sheets for processing on an as-needed basis, and for employees to be compensated as required under any applicable agreements and governing law. These time sheets must have approval by authorized staff before processing.
2. Processing of Payroll
- Contractor shall process payroll as submitted including benefit contributions to the national benefits fund and union dues deductions or referral fees. Contractor shall process deductions and issue all reports as required by law including, but not limited to, workers compensation, FICA, and all state and federal incomes taxes. Contractor shall also process any and all garnishments as directed by law and unemployment claims.
3. Reports to ICA And LEC
- On a per-event basis, contractor shall provide invoices to authorized staff detailing payroll paid per event, total payroll and service charges.
4. Union Needs - Contractor shall provide weekly reports to agency and payment of appropriate fees and dues to local 363 to include payroll details such as payee, gross pay and detail on deductions.
- Contractor shall contribute to the national benefits funds fees as agreed upon between the agency and union members by the 10th of the following month to the agency national health fund, the agency national pension fund and the agency national vacation fund, and provide all necessary reports to the appropriate entities related to those contributions.
- Contractor shall provide a weekly check to agency local 363 for local referral fees and dues. The check is to be mailed to the financial-secretary at the address provided.
- Contractor shall keep computerized records on all union workers.
- Contractor shall handle the paperwork and expense of yearly unemployment claims since stage work is not full-time, year-round employment. 5. Value Added Services
- Describe any special resources, skills or services which the firm possesses, and which are not addressed as part of this RFP, that would be available as part of an agreement with successful proposer. Please demonstrate any advantages that would be realized by the university as a result of these value-added resources (i.e. services offered, sponsorships that would be made available to the community).
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than July 25, 2019.
(3) Contract term will be three years.

- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
