Government authority located in Nevada; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for shipping management solution.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide shipping management solution that can handle multiple origins, carriers, modes and service types with support for compliance tracking and enforcement for international and hazardous materials shipments.
a. Software solution: -
i. Multi-carrier shipping for domestic and international shipments
ii. Ability to identify and track shipments with elevated compliance requirements (e.g., hazardous materials, exports)
iii. Single software resource for filing documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, airway bills, federal forms) with all carriers, rather than needing to access each carrier’s shipping software separately
b. Training: -
i. Provide training for compliance staff and shippers on using the platform
c. Shipping and Receiving
i. Centralized view for compliance personnel of all shipments originating from their campus
ii. Ensure that shipments are routed to appropriate compliance personnel for review and approval
iii. Ability to embed University compliance procedures into the shipping process
d. Environmental Health and Safety
i. Ability to verify that shippers have completed required training (e.g., dangerous goods, hazardous materials, dry ice)
e. Export Controls
i. Ability to screen recipients against federal restricted party lists (e.g., Bureau of Industry and Security Entity List), either directly or through existing University resources (e.g., Visual Compliance).
(2) Contract period will be held on three years.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
