Government Authority located in Las Vegas, Nevada; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for community based security services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide community based security services to protect property and persons to the government authority located in Las Vegas, NV.
- Services shall include supervision, labor, training, testing, background checks, equipment, materials, and supplies needed to provide armed and unarmed uniformed security guards, bicycle patrols and other ancillary services at City sites, special events, and for emergency requirements,
- Security guards shall assist in emergency situations, identify conflicts, intervene courteously,
defuse potential problems, and perform other security-related functions as required by the City,
- Guards assigned to this location must be comfortable and have experience working with similar homeless populations,
- Guards are not to become embroiled in any altercation that can be quelled by their presence or words. If those efforts fail, guards are permitted to physically engage a guest to protect the safety of other Courtyard guests or staff members. Law Enforcement will be notified after every physical engagement,
- Guards are to keep the incidents to a minimum by engaging in de-escalation of incidents at the Courtyard. Guards are expected to use de-escalation techniques for any observable issues at the Courtyard,
- Guards shall provide basic first aid for guests with minor injuries, and call 911 for Guests experiencing medical emergencies,
- Guards must monitor security cameras for all facilities and provide video footage, as needed,
- The Account Manager shall notify the City Representative/Project Manager immediately following an emergency,
- Guards will sign-in and monitor Guests who enter the building to use the public phones and computers,
- Guards will provide security for staff and vendors if they are cleaning or doing repairs to the outside of the property,
- Guards will escort staff from the employee parking lot to their work destination to ensure their safety,
- Guards are an integral and involved partner at the Courtyard. Security is often the first point of contact. They are expected to build relationships with the Guests and encourage the Guests to meet with Courtyard staff for services.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than December 1, 2020.
[C] Eligibility:
Onshore (USA organization Only)
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office premises.
