Vendor needs to provide enterprise content management system
- The State web presence, web content and assets are managed on the Extron content management system (CMS) platform. This platform supports web sites, web content and assets across State departments, divisions, boards, commissions, and the offices of elected State officials. The purpose of this project is to procure and implement a replacement CMS and obtain CMS system administration support services to avert issues related to planned technology obsolescence, including data vulnerabilities and platform support, improve data processing and management, meeting State and Federal regulatory requirements and improve user experience with the State web presence. The proposing vendor shall have at least 10 years of experience in the content management system industry or related industry.
- Replace the existing content management system with a cloud hosted, commercial off the shelf (COTS) digital experience platform (DXP) to support the State’s web presence.
- Obtain a contract for system administration support to include hosting, hosting support, technical support, and maintenance.
- The CMS version has reached end-of-life and no longer receives vendor support for security patches and software updates for the on-premise database and web server. The CMS also does not effectively support Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Section 508 compliance, requiring the State to use third-party software to report on and remediate for ADA compliant content and assets.
- The State CMS is used/managed by 100 to 500 concurrent users and consists of:
- Over 115 websites nested within nv.gov name space.
- Over 53,700 webpages
- Over 132,000 documents
- Over 47,000 media files
- Over 20 terabytes of unstructured content
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
