- This replacement is critical for safety, conducting the research mission at the unit, as well as collaborating with fellow researchers, co-workers, farmers, and other agencies (domestic and foreign). Another important aspect of VoIP is the ability to make calls anytime, anywhere using a broadband internet connection instead of a regular (or analog) line.
