[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide insurance broker services to the government authority located in Henderson, NV.
- Insurance broker or consultant to assist in the selection of the most cost-effective and comprehensive insurance coverages and services available with insurers who meet minimum rating requirements as approved by the city. The insurance broker or consultant shall negotiate for and obtain policies for the coverage required
- Advice on the coverage program and its design, risk management support, assistance in loss prevention and control activities, benchmarking data, assistance with the filing of claims, review of contractual insurance language and requirements.
- Excess Workers’ Compensation
- Excess Liability
- Property
- Emergency vehicles
- Storage Tank (fuel)
- Cyber
- Crime
- Terrorism
- Pollution
- Contractor’s equipment
- Fiduciary
- Special Event
- Any other additional lines of coverage as needed by the city
- Recommend insurance coverages consistent with the exposures to provide the highest level of coverage at the least cost
- Prepare insurance applications, bid packages, and underwriting exhibits in conjunction with the city’s risk management staff
- Negotiate with underwriters on terms and conditions to obtain the most beneficial and cost-effective coverages available
- Review all premium audits and verify accuracy of earned premium
- Answer insurance related questions and concerns.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
