Government Authority located in Nevada; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for laboratory information management system.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide laboratory information management system to streamline workflow and gain economy in numbers by combining disparate manual and automated systems into a cohesive and standardized LIMS for current and future laboratories information management needs.
- Ability to perform all aspects of sample analysis including pre-analytical, analytical and post analytical testing including, but not limited to specimen receiving, specimen inventory, resulting and reporting.
- Move from paper to electronic processes wherever possible.
- Ability to perform all aspects of the sample analysis process (i.e., check-in samples, route samples, perform sample analysis, perform QA reviews, produce reports, and send reports).
- Capture data produced by instruments in the laboratory and incorporate it into analysis process.
- Provide workflow to track and monitor analysis process as well as the quality assurance review and approval process(es).
- Reduce duplication by providing the ability to “auto populate” data already captured to the various forms and reports.
- Provide capabilities to produce ad-hoc reports and flexible searching functionality.
- Develop a single database for the application thus consolidating the data found in a variety of data stores today (Excel, Access, paper files, etc.).
- Export to other databases with sample testing results, or be compatible with certain databases for uploading.
- Receive, track, and monitor levels of all supplies received and used at a laboratory.
- Provide a system to store, revise, track and obsolete all documents and their revisions created to meet the Laboratory’s ISO 17025 or other types of accreditations.
- Create a platform for clients to enter their submission online and integrate the data directly into the LIMS to avoid lab personnel to re-enter data from paper to LIMS.
- Have a functionality of sample routing between departmental labs (e.g., samples submitted to pathology lab will be routed to entomology or chemistry lab based on initial diagnosis).
- Achieve above objectives by not increasing time spent on LIMS and computer by lab staff.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than April 7, 2022.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
