Government Authority located in Reno, Nevada; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for administrative hearing officer.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide administrative hearing officer to the government authority located in Reno, NV.
- The Hearing Officer will receive electronic copies of submitted appeal(s) from the city clerk at least once monthly along with an editable adjudication decision form.
- The administrative hearing officer must return the adjudication decision form via email or in person to the city clerk within 10 business days after receiving the appeal(s).
- If the hearing officer decides to give a reduction or waive fines or fees the hearing officer shall provide an analysis using the facts to justify such a decision.
- The hearings will be scheduled for the first week of each month.
- Once again, the hearing officer will provide a written decision of the appeal either at the time of hearing, or within 10 business days to the city clerk.
- If any reduction or waiver of fines or fees is given, an analysis arriving at such a decision shall be provided by the hearing officer.
- The administrative hearing officer shall be available to timely provide a due process hearing on any unresolved contested official decision that has been appealed for an administrative hearing officer’s decision pursuant to the rights specified under the reno municipal code.
- Additionally, upon request of a party, the hearing officer shall provide a briefing schedule prior to the hearing date.
- The briefing schedule shall contain dates for when each party must submit opening and response and reply briefs.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than April 14, 2022
