[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide alignment alternative development study service to the government authority located in Carson City, NV.
• Mapping and studies to locate potential environmentally or culturally sensitive areas that will need to remain undisturbed or properly mitigated during the construction of any future road alignment.
• Research to support the identification of environmentally or culturally sensitive areas.
• At least four meetings, as needed, with the public or major stakeholders such as but not limited to: Bureau of Land Management, the Navy, the State of Nevada Department of Transportation, local agencies, or major utility companies that may have facilities in the area. One meeting shall take place prior to any work and serve as the “kickoff” for the process to develop the roadway alternatives study.
• In addition to the draft, pre-study and final reports, supply draft documents developed during the course of work for review and comment by the appropriate identified stakeholders.
• Surveying and aerial mapping as needed.
• Public relations including outreach, and meetings as needed.
• Potential right-of-way impacts developed with the generated alignment alternatives.
• The development of alternative concepts, preliminary design, and geometrics.
• Document management.
• Project scheduling to include, but not limited to, key milestones, report submittal and key field visits or mapping.
• Preliminary risk analysis and mitigations to advance alternatives developed.
• The planning and environmental linkage (PEL) process.
• Cost analysis of the alignment alternatives that will be recommended for further consideration in the final environmental document.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 23, 2022
