[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide marketing communications and research service for a full-service, marketing communications and research agency to Effectively research student onboarding, enrollment and retention issues. Provide recommendations, support and messaging to students in a primarily digital environment, with some local media included.
- Marketing: Grow and stabilize its student enrollment, delivering effective messages to prospective college students in the following audiences:
● High school juniors, seniors and recent grads (ages 16-20) in city and surrounding rural areas
● Non-traditional students (ages 21-35) who want to enhance their education or change careers
● Hispanic families with prospective students in the above age groups
- Research: Growing number of students who apply to the college but then fail to convert as students. This is expensive, not only in terms of staff time and effort, but in terms of lost return on investment from college marketing efforts.
- Agency should demonstrate digital media and qualitative research expertise and work closely with marketing, outreach, and institutional research staff to refine the existing strategic marketing communications plan and provide the following deliverables:
1. Ongoing marketing consultation and ideation
2. Marketing collateral and corresponding templates
3. Media placement and recommendations
4. Summary of research findings on admits failing to appear and students failing to return including recommendations focusing on specific population needs for support in the onboarding process, retention strategies and communication with specific audiences.
- The initial marketing campaign and research project will begin January 2023 and end June 30, 2023.
1. Qualitative research on student failure to appear and failure to return reasons and recommendations on how to mitigate the impact on student enrollment.
2. Creative design services for results-driven campaigns appealing to Western Nevada College’s unique target audiences.
3. Media planning and buying
4. Strategic marketing consultation
5. Photography and video production services with the ability to identify and capture images appealing to prospective students
6. Public relations services
7. Website support and consulting.
