(1) Vendor needs to provide senior network analyst services to the government authority located in Nevada.– Install, support and configure CISCO network hardware and components, provide ongoing software and hardware maintenance (including updates and security patches), monitor, evaluate and solve potential hardware performance issues and support customers and employees via email, telephone, and face–to–face interaction.– Creates project plans for all network projects.– Researches and evaluates network equipment, estimates costs and makes recommendations for vendor selection.– Creates and maintains logical, physical and protocol maps, electronic and hard copy backups of all equipment configuration parameters and network documentation standards and procedures.– Coordinates network services, technical and maintenance support with outside service providers.– Manages the network using automated systems to identify trouble spots and to remotely view and administer routers, servers and other network equipment.– Fields trouble calls from customers that relate to network problems, travels to other locations to install or repair equipment and resolve network problems.– Tracks the assignment of TCP/IP networks and individual addresses using certificate system and domain name database.– Develops strategic plans to leverage emerging network technology to support future county network needs.(2) This is a brief information; Main RFP Document is not available on our website.
